With the era of social media, you see a lot of achievements, great highs, and crazy amount of success for a person, brand, or business. While scrolling you may have thoughts about your business and what level you’re at. Even worse, you might have not even started. I will start my business one day; you say to yourself.

Yes, it can be overwhelming because your vision may not match with where you are right now. Then, I came across a book called Show Your Work by Austin Kleon. We see these people, that have success as if they were geniuses but that is far from the truth because you don’t see what goes on behind the scenes, how much work they are putting in and how messy and frustrating the process can be.

We see the finished products or comparing our beginning to the years they put in, which is unfair to your mindset. There is easier way to great started without self-judgement for whatever goal you have in mind, for me it is to become a content creator.

They say the best way to learn is to teach, with that in mind you will become a full-time student preparing to teach others of what you are learning and how it helps you and how it can help them.

From this perspective there will be many benefits such as taking the weight of perfection off, focusing on process and craft, and being up front with audience will gain their trust and chance to grow together.

This is my first blog post and there will be mistakes, but there is one thing for sure, I will continue to write and get better.

Thank you for reading and listen or both. I will continue to show my work and I hope you show your work too.

My name is Antenehe, this is Minority Dollars and I recommend this book:
